Presentation handouts from two recent Jackson Inventors Network (JIN) meetings are now available for member download from the Jackson Inventors Network site.
The Oct. 23 Jackson Inventors Network (JIN) meeting featured, Dr. Ron Sadler, a business strategist with both industry and academic experience. Dr. Sadler worked for General Motors and Delphi Corp. for more than four decades. He has held executive positions in marketing and product line management and has global business experience. Upon leaving the automotive industry, he began teaching at Kettering University and Saginaw Valley State University. He currently lectures in the Kettering University Techworks® Entrepreneurship program and is a contributor to the course content; providing pragmatic insight into how markets work. Dr. Sadler continues to research and lecture on contemporary socioeconomic issues in America.

The Nov. 27 Jackson Inventors Network (JIN) meeting featured “Prototyping and Testing,” featuring Ed Carlson, an experienced engineer and business executive who provides mechanical design and product development through his Ann Arbor business, ENCarlson Enterprises. Carlson graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, and later from the University of Minnesota with a master’s degree in business administration. He leverages more than 30 years of industry experience, together with a skilled network of designers, engineers and global supply resources, to deliver quality designs and engineered products for businesses, entrepreneurs and inventors.
