Angela Barbash

At the next meeting  of Jackson Inventors Network, March 24, the special guest speaker will be Angela Barbash, founder of Reconsider in Ypsilanti, Mich. Barbash’s presentation will also explain the provisions of the new MILE law (Michigan Invests Locally Exemption).

Investment crowdfunding presents a new way for Michigan inventors to raise capital from the Michigan community. While access to capital and investment options is increasing, entrepreneurs will benefit from guidance on how to incorporate these new opportunities into their current plans.

She has served for 10 years as a financial advisor at both large and small firms, managing over $250 million during her career. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Barbash studied cultural anthropology and history at Eastern Michigan University and worked at the Michigan Small Business Development Centers.
